Owls are always making their home in this particular tree. There is plenty of shade to stay cool under as well as plenty of overgrown brush hiding prey.

In a clearing there is an abundance of prey, but there are also many scattered rocks hiding deadly adders. While the prey is good, the risk of being bitten may deter the potential hunter.

| THE RIVER
This is the clan's namesake, an enormous body of water that runs through their territory and holds their main food supply: fish. Reeds and pebbles line the river and while there are parts of the river where cats should be wary of swimming across, it is generally safe.

| SUNNINGROCKS
Here is the much-disputed land that Riverclan and Thunderclan have fought over for so long. At this point in time, Riverclan has recently won back the rock formation and take care to scent it every day and run a patrol through the rocks as much as possible.

| TWOLEG BRIDGE
This twoleg thing spans across the river and provides a route for Riverclan, though be forewarned, twolegs come here during newleaf to sleep in their camp, just a few fox-lengths away. All cats must keep an eye out for any stray twoleggers when about these parts.

| CATTAIL THICKET
A large bunch of river cattails rise up on a gentle slope that falls away from the river and leads to a clearing, where the grass is green and lush. This is where apprentices can be trained by their mentors.

| THE GORGE
As the river approaches Windclan territory, it deepens into the earth and enormous walls of rock lift up on either side of it, until it's nearly impossible for anyone to reach the river, unless they know how to descend the slick rocky slope. Cats rarely do, as the river takes them straight into enemy territory.

Off to the east of camp is a very large rock that juts out from the ground that is high enough to oversee the entire moorland. Many cats station here on patrols or come here to sunbathe.

| THE OLD FARM
Twolegs mostly leave this barn alone and it's common for clan cats to visit. There are the occasional dog, sheep and cow that make home to it, but the barn is full of mice even in leaf-bare, making it an asset often bickered between by RiverClan and WindClan.

| ABANDONED BADGER SET
A family of badgers many seasons ago called home to this place. Now the scent of badger is very faint if at all. The prey here is abundant and makes for a good hunting spot.

From the lightning that struck the Burnt Sycamore started the fire that created the charred clearing. Life had refused to returned to this barren stretch, but it is an ideal place where mentors do combat training with their apprentices.

Deep in the territory and north of the camp is where the ground becomes noticeably laden with water that hardly ever dries up. Frogs are about the only prey here, but ShadowClan isn't complaining too much about that.

| MISTED LAKE
This area is one of the few untouched by twolegs, simply for the fact it seems almost constantly hidden by the fog and mist within the mountains. a clear lake and a small forest, it would be beautiful, if it weren't for the haunting feeling left by the mist and the occasional pile of cat bones. This was where Max's gang previously lived. The area itself is now deserted, yet many don't tend to stay long. There's something creepy about the place.

| NORTHERN PINES
If a cat were to keep going north past ShadowClan territory, eventually they would reach the northern pines. Here, the marshes have gone and been replaced by rocky territory full of rocks and creeks for felines to wander through. There are often twolegs treading through this area however.
